Welcome to A Life Examined

What is the examined life? A life worth living! As I look at the road ahead, I take all the baggage from the past and use it as experience - the pain and the passion, the sorrow and the joy - allowing it to carve wisdom into my mind and hope into my spirit.
There is no experience that can't be useful to me at some point in my life. There is no lesson learned that cannot make a contribution to the future.
A tiny drop of water is a part of the ocean. A tiny speck in the night sky is a ginormous star in the distance. It all depends on perspective.
So, this examined life is to offer reflections in the hope of discussing things which are of value to myself and to others.
Love, Sarah

FREE TO BE: New Publication - Book Pre-launch

Enrich your life by finding lasting freedom from fear, insecurity, oppression.

My first book is to be launched on 7th April 2012 with pre-launch in Eastern Ontario on 10th December.

The book is a guide to overcoming insecurity.  Indeed its subtitle is: Defeating Insecurity, Transforming Relationships, Building Character.

To live happier socially and healthier emotionally, without fear, insecurity or shame, FREE TO BE offers a challenge for change; to rethink your mindset and extend your faith beginning with a deeper revelation of God's unconditional love.

"reliable guide", "insightful and helpful", "compassionate and sensitive", "a great read"...

Every kind of social insecurity boils down to one thing: a sense of lack, of not receiving a sufficient amount of unconditional love -- of being loved simply for who you are.  But if you revolutionize the way you think about yourself and others, you will revolutionize your social and emotional life.

The book is a guide, a 'how to' revolutionize your thinking.  It shares my approach to the problem, how I identified and overcame, and how I have the confidence the same freedom is available to you.

So, as the weeks and months leading up to the launch unfold, I'll share more about the publication, the process of recognising and overcoming anxiety, worry, fear, oppression, insecurity.

My desire is for us all to be all we can be; and it can happen once we are free from the angst that holds us back!

For now, may every day be 'new' for you,

Sarah
