Welcome to A Life Examined

What is the examined life? A life worth living! As I look at the road ahead, I take all the baggage from the past and use it as experience - the pain and the passion, the sorrow and the joy - allowing it to carve wisdom into my mind and hope into my spirit.
There is no experience that can't be useful to me at some point in my life. There is no lesson learned that cannot make a contribution to the future.
A tiny drop of water is a part of the ocean. A tiny speck in the night sky is a ginormous star in the distance. It all depends on perspective.
So, this examined life is to offer reflections in the hope of discussing things which are of value to myself and to others.
Love, Sarah

Cycle of Blogging

I've been told by the professionals that consistency is valuable to blog readers.

I'm ambitious. So, I'm going to start to intentionally blog - that is blog to a schedule.
Who knows what'll come out of my fingers!

I'm going to blog on Thursdays, bi-weekly, starting on Thursday November 22nd....
sometime on that date based on EST.

So, praise GOD, I'm starting to get the hang of something on the technical side.
(I've also started some other blogs, which, given time, may be worth mentioning!)

God bless and let's see what comes up over the next 2 weeks!

I definitely recommend a schedule. I even have mine posted on a Page on my blog "How I Blog", thus I have specific readers come by on certain days when they know what I will be blogging about. My following jumped considerably when I started doing that.
Looking forward to Thursdays! :)

I'll start by putting it in my old fashioned hard copy wall calendar.
Thanks for the encouragement!
Let's see... how do I add a page to this blog? Don't think this one's sophisticated enough. But today was a good day. I'm feeling hopeful!

Yeah, Sarah, I think rhythm is key. For some, consistency is 5 days a week -- for others that's just not do-able. If you really want to make a point of it then scheduling it in sounds like a great idea.
